Miss Cheongsum

Yea! I love my cheongsum top! haha.. went chinatown with stu jus now after tuition to hunt for cny clothes. Actually I don't realli mind whether I've new clothes to wear on cny not cos my family has long since lost the tradition of buying new clothes for cny. We don't realli go
bai nian in s'pore during cny anyway cos my mom's relatives all in m'sia and my father's relatives not v close also... so new clothes or not, no diff..
But it has been different ever since i kinda became part of stu's fam... haha. Their family very closely-knitted... and that include his extended family (aunties, uncles, cousins and all...) So cny is a major major family get-together for them. Stu insisted that i must buy a new and preety cny clothes so that I won't
sia suay him. WAHAHAHA. No la... I know that he meant it as a joke so that I can be convinced to let him buy me something for cny cos i'm broke and I will usually not let him pay for me. (but most of the time he wins.. =x)
It's quite a good deal. Just $34 for the good material and nice cutting that fits damm well. Luckily I nv buy the earlier one i saw. The material was more flimsy and a lot of the threads came loose. Most importantly, the cutting sux!!! And Stu still tell me its nice its nice. Give myself a pat on my back for not listening to him. In the end, he agrees the earlier one isn't as nice.. ! haha.

And the most beautiful thing abt this cheongsum top is that... it is traditional with a tinge of sexiness in it... lol. It's bare-back! So it looks kinda halter in a way. The photo's kinda dark and blur...
Nice riteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... lol. I gotta wear it with my skinny jeans. looking forward to cny!

Dinner @ Vivo

Met up with entre friends to have dinner @ Vivo just now. Initially wanted to go Marche but the queue was too bloody long.. so we settled for this pizza place which I can't rem its name.. lol. The pizza is super duper BIGGGGGG... my gosh. This is the size of just one slice of the entire pizza and I think there were like abt 10 or more pieces of this? lol.
Anyway, pro's bdae coming sunday, 27th jan. So we got him a cake and sang a bdae song for him there. Funny incident happened before the cake was brought out. YY asked one of the waiter for the cake and the waiter did not understand buddy initially. And when he finally understood he exclaimed 'OH! THE BDAE CAKE!' diaoz...
Yes my dear waiter.. it's that bdae cake which was meant to be a surprise. haha. We almost strangled him. haha.
I was telling my friends.. can u imagine what he might say next. Perhaps this -----> 'U WANT THE LIGHTS OFF NOW?' (in exclamation like b4) lol.

FYI: Pro was called pro cos he was damm pro at kayaking.. and everything outdoor during OBS. lol. So we always tease him that he couldnt function as well indoor. Pro needs solar energy! lol.
Oh went JB yet again on Thursday. This time with stu, his mom and his sis. Was a shopping spree for all of us. Stu's mom brought RM2000 there and was left with only a few hundred in the end. haha... Thanks auntie!!! cos she paid for all our food! hee. Was a fun trip! Good food and definitely very good company! Oh.. i bought this shoe which I love lots..
It's checked. kinda like burberry but not quite.. haha. It doesn't look as nice in the pic. But it's really sleek and preety. Like it a lot. Phyllis (my p6 tuition kid) was saying its nice too!
Anyway had tuition with Phyllis jus now and she was telling me bout her friend's bgr prob. LOL. kids nowadays ah... aiyo... lol.
She say her friend 'jian yi ge ai yi ge'. Always change bf. haha. Was also telling me how her science experiement groupmates split into 2 gang cos the 2 group dun like each other and she's sandwiched between them. Both grp begging her not to 'friend' the other group. lol. Rings a bell anyone? esp girls? lol... 'eh.. u don't friend her k. u friend her i dun friend u' hahaha...
Haha.. my beloved roomie.. rem last time i 'friend' mingxuan and pao qi u. And how u nv sat on yellow chairs in kopitiam anymore because mingxuan's fav colour is yellow. WAHAHAHA. This is so lameeeeeeeeeee... but those were the days.. haha.

New blogskin!

Yea! I'm all smiles now! happy~ I've finally figured out how to manipulate the elements on my blog!! 2 months into blogging not knowing how to edit the format of my blog, how to download the counters or to even download skins from blogskins.com!! my gosh. My old blogskin wasn't from blogskin.com and I downloaded it cos it's the only one that works! and... my blog was thrown into a freaking mess few days ago when I tried downloading the new blogskin. My old tagboard messages are gone.. sadz.. lol. It's okie.. I love my new blogskin! So much preetier than the previous. I am too sleepy to blog now. I will blog about my discussion with alene on the topic of 'Karma' soon. lol. wohoo~, sounds serious doesn't it? lol.

New ClubbING Kaki

Went clubbing with Shannon (stu's sis) & her friends yesterday! haha... super ONz.. one call and off we went for the night. haha. Went dbl O as usual. First time go clubbing with them, think they're a quite a fun bunch to hang out with. Ing Mey was crazy in the club lor.. hahah... she was super high.. but poor iny mey puke quite badly after tt. haha.. Got 2 stupid guys keep dancing behind us. Though i was a bit high, I was still fully aware of my surroundings! One of them came and whispered into my ear 'did anyone tell you you're hot.. ' SLAP HIM! PUI! Typical guy in club trying to go near girls.. I faintly remember Ing Mey and Shann pulling me away. Anyway, they shall be my new clubbing kaki for my furture clubbing NEEDS. LOL.
Went shopping with stu yesterday cos was his off day. Bought a bag. Now this kind of bucket bag is the latest fashion. haha.. i wanted to get one online long ago.
Bought a scarf too. In fashion too. But don't know if I will wear it.
Borrowed 3 books from the library this week. Hopefully they are nice books. I kinda like to read.. but I realise there aren't many interesting books in the library. Or perhaps I don't know how to find. geez. They shall be my companion when i'm bored which is highly likely the case now.. that I've kinda graduated.

SAO is screwed up! Had a lot of prob with them about the overloading thingy and finally decided to just heck it and not to overload anymore. BUt.. this afternoon when I checked my email.. they added the mods I wanted for me already! And I'm confused all over again... SHould I take them? Sigh... Guess I've made up my mind. Haikz.

New Hair Colour

Where did I go over the weekends...........................................
Yep yep! We went JB on Sunday! Main objective: Dye my hair. Went Francis' on Saturday to cut and dye my hair. Wanted to dye back my favourite Ash highlights but when we asked Francis how much it would cost me... the price skyrocketed to twice the amount he charged me last time... a freaking $240!! My budget was only a max of $120 or $130. So ended up trimming my hair only.
Walked around the possible salons available @ City Square to check out the market rate only to find out that most of them cost about the same as Francis'. Approximately 400 ringgit. And I also realised most of the hairdressers are not very willing to do the Ash colour due to the number of bleaching and the tedious work required. Boo! Was kinda sadz. Actually was also rather hesistant to do my hair at JB salon cos it is quite difficult to achieve the correct ash colour. Anyhow.. I found REDS which charged at a much lower price of 240 ringgit.. Within budget! And the result...
Hmmm.. the pic not v clear.. But can see a big streak of ash there.. Quite ok with the outcome just that the base colour abit too blonde. Look like lion king! =( Hopefully, it will look more natural after a few washes.
Reached JB @ 3pm and went for lunch at StoneGrills. Quite an interesting concept, 'barbecuing' ur own food on a piece of hot metal stone.
Mine was Sirloin Steak. Look gross right.. the big chunk raw lard-looking meat. lol. In the end, I overcooked a part of it and it was too dry, tasted like chicken breastmeat. But the other part tasted juicier and more succulent cos it was nicely done.. not too 'well-done' lol like the previous.
Stu's was lamb Kebab. Quite nice.
I had ice cappacino and stu had sprit float. Look at the nice glasses. I'm always fascinated by nice-looking drinks. lol.
After dying my hair, there's no more time for shopping. Had a quick dinner and we were on our way home. Dinner was at............
Mine was Udon. I tell you... the soup was uber nice la! It tastes of mushroom... my favourite. It really really yummy the soup. How I wish I could refill the soup. Anyway, the portion is quite small actually.
And so... Thumbs up for the Udon. Emptied the bowl...
Stu's rice.. eh.. i dun find it as nice as mine! haha..
Plus his... I dunnoe wad's that.. Din tried it too.. so no comment... haha
Sadz there wasnt enough time to shop around... shall go back soon to do proper shopping. Must earn money first to shop!! I shall not skipped tuition anymore! lol.

Last Friday we went Ajiteh to have dinner. Stu said the Jap food there is nice and cheap. And so we went! haha.. Our dinner for the night includes.... *drum roll*
It's jus cabbage shreds inside... but stu like it a lot. Cos he loves salad and alot alot of mayo! Thought it taste like the Japanese Pizza that I used to sell in Pasar Malam (Yes, i've worked in a pasar malam long time ago. haha) I'm not really a big fan of mayo. So ya.. Slight overdose of Mayo for me. LOL.
This was better. It's hmmm... chicken if my memory did not fail me. It's kinda like pizza. When you pull the pieces apart there are shreds of ... you know the pizza hut advertisement that you always see.
My all-time favourite, Agadeshi Tofu. But the skin was abit overfried I thought.
Chicken Curry Rice or sth. haha. Hmmm.. the curry taste.. alright. Not really spectacular.
Another all-time favourite Shisamo. Or what I call the 'dan4 yu2'. I feel that the Ri Ben Chun one at Boon lay stadium one was nicer somehow.
And last but not least... my favourite too! Green tea ice-cream! Green tea ice-cream is just so yummylicious! I like it cos its not too sweet... haha. And the subtle green tea flavour is just so... Yummy! Oh... and there's red bean and mochi to complement the ice cream! Love it! I think this is my favourite of the entire dinner!

Ajiteh is a subsidiary of Ajisen, the ramen restaurant. And... the most important piece of information. Ajiteh is at Plaza Sing. Can't rem level wad.. Woah~ I just did a free advertisement for them without realising.. haha. The power of word-of-mouth...

Ups & dOwns

First week of school had elasped but I have yet to attend a single lesson!! Right now, I only have one module on my timetable and even so, it's just an AHSS 'Mind over Stress' elective. BIGGGG SIGH. =(
Was feeling rather down this whole week. Nothing major happened but rather an accumulation of everything small. It's kinda verified and proven that I'm not the kind of person who can idle around with no purpose for the day. Instead of being on cloud nine, it kinda felt insecure and directionless with the 'too-slack-to-be-true' timetable of mine. Now though I'm given the approval to overload modules, there just seem to be no vacancies whatsoever for all the electives I want to overload!!! raWWWW. Have already appealed for those UEs and can only wait for the result as of now. Even so, it seems that I am only allowed to appeal for three. I wan to take one or two more! This is my last chance to pull up my GPA & hopefully (seriously seriously hopefully) reach a 2nd upper? Bohoo. Yep... I still have a pending 15AUs of entre minor modules but according to 'market rate', the possibilities would be only 2-3As out of the 5. =( and THAT IS if I can 'live up' to the 'market rate'. Boo.
Thurs was the first day I went back school since the last day of entre on the 4th. Guess wad? I miss school already!! like wth.. missing school even b4 I stepped into the corporate world? Seriously speaking, I think studying is kinda fun. Perhaps not studying per se but the times you hang out with friends in school, talking in class.. bla bla bla. I miss walking to can B before and in between lessons to buy corn pau and coffee. Slowly sipping my coffee and eating my pau during lecture... I always thought its an enjoyment! haha. Actually studying can be fun too la. It can be really enjoyable when you participate in class, there's really a difference. Or maybe it's cos it's marketing... if its engineering.. hmmm.. *Oops* No offense.
Anyhow.. numerous other minor issues were at hand this whole week too. I lost my bro's laptop adaptor for a while! Like what's new right? haha.. Left it in CBE's computer room after EN103 project. Jason helped me check out the lost and found counter in his school and told me he got back an adaptor from them but it's IBM's. Was damm sianzzzzz la. I haven't even replace my $300 IC and now this... and according to Moses, one freaking adaptor would perhaps cost me near $100. On top of that, FYP is a major source of stress. Stagnating stagnating stagnating. Was rather happy and satisfied that I kinda organised and edited our super duper draft report into a more comprehensive one... and was looking forward to meeting prof on Fri to clear up whatever tons of rubbish we have in mind and to think that she fell ill!! Argh. =( She was gone for the whole of Dec already leaving us in a lurch! This week was a quarrelsome one for dear n i too. Unhappy with each other. Snapped at each other. Getting on each other's nerves.
Lo and Behold... My adaptor is now back. Blur Jason actually got back my adaptor but was told that it was an IBM one. Was damm happy la! Luckily he gave me back in time.. I was already thinking of buying one soon. Well.. FYP meeting going to be held on this coming Monday. I've 103 exam on that day but shall meet them for awhile first. Hopefully Prof can make it at an earlier time so that I can be present as well. Still worried abt FYP but I KNOW WE CAN DO IT! A+ A+ A+ A+. haha. I am so going to put my heart and soul into FYP. Modules.. I can't do anything now.. I have emailed to ask if I can overload more. The rest that I've appealed for I just have to wait. Chances are slim. But nvm.. if I seriously cannot get.. so be it. Wo3 xiang3 tong1 le3. It's either I will just take up more tuition to earn more money or maybe do an internship during this semester. Dear and I are okay already too.. Sorry dear dear for the attitude this whole week. I make a public apology here k... forgive me. =( lol. I will learn to be a better gf... but u must be a better bf too! haha. No la.. U're more than perfect already.
Kinda a bad start to a new yr hur... well... ups and downs.. Once the ball hit the bottom, there's nowhere else to go but to bounce back up. Then ......... when it reaches the top already, it will come down again? NO NO NO! When have you ever heard that there's a limit to the sky... even when it reaches the topmost layer of the globe, there's still the outerspace.. and other planets.. But......Gravity will pull the ball down before it even reaches the topmost layer of the globe? NO NO NO.. mine's a balloon. Balloon has helium.. helium makes it go up but nv down.. lol =X

I've officially moved out of Hall 8 and that also marks the end of my almost 3 yrs of hall life. I guess hall life will be one of the most cherised uni days. Came in as a rookie (aka freshie) and as usual, the common adjectives that any freshie will be tagged with: New, fresh, blur, active... Joined every single committee possible and trying out everything new... haha. Sounds familiar?
I'm blessed to have met a bunch of crazy and fun peeps in hall. 44 gang rox! Love every single one of them. Live together, eat together, celebrate festivals together, K box together, pouring out emotions to each other, club together.. you name it... haha. Needless to say, the best thing that ever happen to me is that hall 8 brought me & dear together.. haha. Rem those 'ai mei' period in yr 1!!! WAHAHA. ok.. i shan't elaborate.
Almost half of 44 moved out last yr when ky and dear batch graduated.. now with me, jas, zz and cw leaving.. haha... 44 empire is falling!!! haha.. Kinda sad when i was packing my stuff last sunday.

I fell down!! BOHOO~~ =...( It's been so long since i last fell down... Just came back from Forbes focus group. Earn $40 and it comes with a price!
My apologies for the somewhat gruesome photo. Grace called me on my phone and I fell right into the drain at that instant...grace why u call me at such a critical time when I was crossing the drain!! lol.
It's quite a deep cut as you can see (After i dried off the blood). Hmmm... it looks like a balancing beam. See the triangle.. think it looks like a fulcrum (is tt how u spell it). and the straight cut above it , the beam. haha. this balancing beam won't balance la. The fulcrum is not at the beam's centre of gravity aka CG. Hey! I haven't forgotten by physics! haha.. Ok.. i think i'm getting nonsensical...
Hmmm.. perhaps there's a reason why i fell down. 'it's ok if u fall down, the most impt thing is to pick yourself up!' haha.. .well.. abit cliche hur.. lol.

04.01.08 marks the last day of the most gruelling minor course in NTU!!! haha.. woo~ so glad its over. Hmmm.. what have I gained in this entre minor..? I guess what Jia hui said is rather true.. 'if you want to go for this course to learn more, don't bother, NBS teach us more'. LOL. Guess most of what were covered in 101, 102, 103, 105 have somehow been taught in NBS. In fact, the teaching style is very similar too! Interactive... active learning.. Case studies after case studies. bla bla bla.
Think the most I've gained from this course are friends! haha.. Get to know a bunch of nice and fun-loving peeps! Went thru OBS together, burnt midnight oil together.. OMG. the amount of 'blood & sweat' we put into this course.. no one can imagine la! Imagine doing project throughout the night until 8am and went for lesson immediately at 9am?! Imagine going back to school on every public holiday in December to rush our project!
Must stay in contact wor peeps~~ More K outing! Speaking of which, I'm going for a K session with them in 2 hours time! haha.. Some pics taken on the last day. Oh yes, we ended the last session with our group's New Urban Male presentation (tt explains why most of us are in NUM outfit).. think it was quite a job well done. haha.. Realli pray we can do well for all our 3 projs.. haha..
