Back to Bkk trip. Khaosan is my favourite night market. But this time round it was rather disappointing. Other than its nice Phad Thai, prata with condensed milk etc, there was essentially nothing much. Maybe it was my second visit to Thai within a year, so it's not as interesting anymore. Plus, I'm not really into buying casual wears this time round so there was nothing much for me to buy anyway. Oh, Stu was infuriated that he bought a packet of watermelon for $2 SGD though. Kena cheated. haha.
Nope, this was not the expensive watermelon at Khaosan. And anyway it's broad daylight, so I wasn't at Khaosan, just along some street outside our hotel.
Chatuchak - the famous weekend market. Roomie a word of advice: Drink lots of water and tie ur hair up/wear a hairband, preferably sleeveless top. Whatever u deem necessary to prevent urself from getting heatstroke.
Chatuchak started selling pets. The brown puppy is dammmmmmm cute la! And it only cost $300 SGD! Where to find?! Too bad we cannot keep pets at home, if not will definitely buy u back, u cutie pie! Feel like squeezing u to death! LOL.
Chatuchak sells loose sticks of cigarettes which comes in a variety of colours and patterns. Preety pinks, cool blacks, floral prints bla bla. We bought some cos.... I told stu I want to try! Oops. Just wanted to have a taste of how it feels like. Not to worry, I'm not hooked at all. It's not nice!! I really don't get what Stu meant by the high feeling without getting drunk or having the effect of alcohol without getting wasted. lol. Maybe I did it the wrong way or perhaps I'm already a seasoned smoker with just one try! So no effect on me! haha.
It's not lit yet. Just a poseur shot. =) But he said I looked obviously amateur. LOL.

The 4 pathetic cufflinks he bought for himself the entire day. lol. In fact, he didn't buy much the entire trip. COS HE DON'T LACK ANYTHING!

Stucked at the door cos he's getting fatter and fatter by the days. LOL.

Oh haha! Something worth mentioning. There was this door @ the entrance of the airport. It's the kind with 4 rotating partitions. U enter when the rotating partition reaches a point and create a opening for u to go in and u wait for the opening again to go out from the other side. Some office buildings have this kind of door as well. Anywayz, Stu asked me to go inside and take a photo. I was preety apprehensive initially cos I didn't dare to go in alone. I went in nevertheless. Pushing my luggage trolley along, I entered & just stood there. I thought the floor would somehow move along with the rotating partitions. I wanted to turn and smile to the camera and to my horror.. I saw rotating partition approaching me!!! Then I realised the floor I was standing on wasn't moving at all! I'm supposed to walk together with the rotating partition until it opens an exit for me. I went frantic and tried pushing my trolley but it just wouldn't barge. (Cos I didn't push the handle down for it to move. diaoz) Started screaming a lil and tried abandoning the trolley to run for my life. Hilarious la! Stu was waving his hands in the air frantically, attempting all sorts of hand signals possible, mouthing 'push! push!' lol. For a moment, I thought the door was going to explode cos my trolley was still stuck there! The door's a smart ass luckily. It stopped when it hit the trolley. Finally I regained my composure and pushed the trolley out of the exit... lol. End of story. lol. okie.. i'm stupid. haha.
Spent a total of $500 on shopping. All my tuition fee gone. Oh well...
Anyway I bought a preety fake DKNY (pls don't read the words 'preety' and 'fake' together, i'm trying to say it's a beautiful but fake watch) watch, adding to my collection of watches. Yep, the pic don't do justice again. It's really nice, I like it a lot. Now I have a real DKNY rectangular-faced black watch from Stu and a fake DKNY round-faced white watch from Bkk. Direct contrast!
